The BCC Certification Group has put together a best practice guide regarding the foreign evidence needed to support origin claims for non-preference certificates of origin.
Documentation staff should recognise that the guidance provided cannot cover every circumstance and that their training and experience should allow them to evaluate each claim on its merits taking into account various factors such as the integrity of the applicant, the risk to the Chamber's reputation, the value of the shipment, the frequency of the claim etc.
