Reports Saudi Arabia will no longer require Certificates of Origin
We have heard reports that Saudi Arabia is removing the requirement for non-preferential Certificates of Origin (COs) for imports. From our initial investigation it appears this new rule will only apply to movements within Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and not affect the issuance of CO’s from the UK.
To date we have been unable to corroborate these reports, but we would ask that you be aware of this issue and to let BCC know if you hear further reports.
